The client brief
To showcase the versatility and premium taste of this genuine French mustard Brand. To encourage trial and purchase of the brand. The product Maille Mustard The response To showcase the versatility of the product and reflect its French origins by using it in a traditional French snack “Croque Monsieur”. The Maille Mustard was the hero of this wonderfully flavoured ham, cheese and mustard toasted sandwich, which was cooked and served in store and had a wide appeal to shoppers. Two varieties of the mustard were used so shoppers could taste both and a vegetarian option was also offered up to shoppers. We also sourced a joint venture cheese partner for the Client in order to minimize costs for the campaign. The outcome Over 60 jars of mustard were sold in the first 3-hour session! Shopper feedback was extremely positive with many shoppers also purchasing the other ingredients to make the Croque Monsieur themselves at home.
